tabserver

Congrats, your browser is now a server.

Add some files to this page. Send your magic link to others. Files transfer peer-to-peer straight from your tab to them. No middleman, no accounts, fully encrypted. Host anything, even websites. Sharing stops when you close the tab.

Your files never touch another server: this tab is the server.

How does it work?
  1. Host generates an Ed25519 keypair and uses the public key as a link namespace
  2. When peers load the link, Trystero bootstraps an encrypted p2p channel with the host
  3. File requests happen via normal http requests (this is why hosting websites work), but are intercepted by a service worker that proxies them to load over WebRTC
